Maddison
Argall
Senior Legal Assistant
Maddison holds a Bachelor of Laws from Deakin University and joined Little Estate Lawyers as a Senior Legal Assistant. Maddison will soon be admitted to the Queensland Supreme Court as a Lawyer, and in time will progress to a Graduate Lawyer role with the firm.
Before joining us, Maddison worked as a Law Graduate in the Agribusiness team at a large Brisbane firm, where she gained experience across family succession planning, Wills and Estates, rural property and commercial matters.
With an extensive list of volunteer work to her credit, Maddison has interned at Villamanta Disability Rights Legal Service, a community legal centre, where she assisted with tribunal matters, legal research and client work.
Maddison is drawn to Wills, Estates and succession work because it means helping people through some of the most significant and personal moments in their lives. She knows these matters are often difficult, and she brings a straightforward, patient and caring approach to every client she works with.
Country and community are a big part of who Maddison is. She is from the Wimmera in western Victoria, and before the law she worked on the land – from grain harvest with GrainCorp to two years as an administrative assistant at the Australian Agricultural Company’s Brunette Downs Station in the Northern Territory, where she was just as comfortable lending a hand in the cattle yards.
She remains on the committee of the amateur race club at Brunette Downs, helping to run one of the Territory’s most iconic bush events, and continues to give her time to community groups back home – from the local ski club to volunteer transport for older residents.
That upbringing shows in the way Maddison works – practical, reliable, easy to talk to, and never afraid to roll up her sleeves. It is a good fit for the way we like to look after our clients at Little Estate Lawyers.
